DIRECT CONTRIBUTION TO THE QUINWOOD VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT, QUINWOOD, WV TO ASSIST WITH THE PURCHASE OF A NEW TRUCK.

The Redondo Beach Police Foundation RBPF is an independent, 501c3 nonprofit organization that serves as a community partner to the Redondo Beach Police Department to help make Redondo Beach, the most innovative and safest city in the region. By providing resources and support to the Redondo Beach Police Department, the Foundation plays a critical role in taking public safety beyond what our government tax dollars will allow. Technology is rapidly evolving and equipment gets worn. Community policing through innovative and creative programs and initiatives require funding. The Redondo Beach Police Foundation issues grants to our local police department so our men and women in blue have the best training, equipment and programs to perform at their highest level.

HELPING THOSE WHO CANNOT HELP THEMSELVES AND REACHING OUT TO THE SUFFERING

1. Detect and investigate health problems in Scottish Terriers2. Monitor health in Scottish Terriers3. Participate in research to enhance prevention of illness4. Develop and advocate sound breeding practices5. Foster safe and healthful environments6. Study and share information that promotes better health in our dogs7. Promote and encourage constructive attitudes toward health concernsWhereas, as with most breeds of dogs,the Scottish terrier is affected from time to time by certain diseases and defects from genetic or other causes which can only be cured or contained through better understanding of the causes and treatment or other remedies for such diseases and defects; and whereas, STCA Board deems it appropriate and necessary to establish a special fund to be held in Trust for the purposes of funding, whole or in part, research and studies into the diseases and defects affecting the Scottish Terrier, and for the purposes o education, including, but not limited to, education of STCA
